Alisha has played trombone since she was ten years old, and is currently a sought after freelance artist for all styles of music. She has toured extensively in the United States and Europe with big bands, wind ensembles, and orchestras. Her most recent travel engagements include Doc Severinsen’s final big band tour, and performances with popular artist Michael Bolton.
When not traveling, Alisha maintains a busy schedule in the Los Angeles area. Big bands she has performed with include Geo Valle’s Swing City Big Band, the Ron King/Buddy Childers Big Band, Maiden Voyage, and Scott Whitfield’s Jazz Orchestra West. She has concretized with the San Bernardino Symphony, the Cypress Pops Orchestra, and the Idyllwild Arts Academy Orchestra. She also plays in a variety of smaller ensembles ranging from brass quintets to salsa bands.
Alisha completed a Trombone Performance master’s degree at Brigham Young University in 2005.
