Dean Roubicek, A K A "The Dean of Sax", from Cleveland, Ohio, is a master of a number of woodwind instruments, and plays as many as 6 during any performance. His talent and versatility are in demand, and he has played with a hall of fame of top performers.

 

Dean has proved his talent's range, playing with acts from The Gap Band to Mel Torme to The Hollywood Pops Orchestra to the Dukes of Dixieland! Dean has also played with Edgar Winter, The Manhattans, Albert King, Machito Orchestra, The Buddy Rich Big Band, the Delfonics, Rudy Vallee, Deniece Williams, The Chi-lites, Albert Collins, and many more.

 

Dean`s exciting sound can often be heard featured in the works of award winning T.V./Film writer and arranger Don Peake. He is currently the featured soloist with the Pacific Concert Group, and is staff saxophonist with ITP Records.

 

Dean also is a member of the Mother Blues Band.
